Arrest made in Rostraver shopping plaza shooting that left 1 dead

WESTMORELAND COUNTY — UPDATE 11/7/22 11:02 AM: One person is being held in the Westmoreland County Prison following the shooting death of a male in the Lowes Plaza in Rostraver Township Saturday evening.

The shooting is believed to be an isolated, targeted attack on the victim, Westmoreland County District Attorney Nicole W. Ziccarelli said in a statement.

The Rostraver Township police department and Westmoreland County detectives are investigating.

One person is dead after a shooting near a shopping plaza in Westmoreland County.

Westmoreland County dispatchers say police and medics were called to 203 Sara Way in Rostraver Township at around 7:20 p.m.

Police say they are looking for a suspect but they do not believe there is any threat to the public.

There were no other reported victims.
