PITTSBURGH — A juvenile was arrested after two burglaries in Pittsburgh.

Police said they first responded to a burglary on Lakewood Street in Elliott on Thursday.

The following day they were called to a home invasion burglary on Bucyrus Street, also in Elliott. A juvenile boy was arrested immediately after that, officers said. They did not provide his exact age but said he had the stolen items with him.

After the burglary, police searched the house he lives in where they found a gun they said was stolen from Lakewood Street.

Police said they used surveillance cameras and tracking on an electronic home-monitoring ankle bracelet to identify the suspect.

He is now being held at Highland Detention at the Shuman Center.
