NORTH HUNTINGDON, Pa. — A person is in custody after a shots-fired incident outside a Walgreens in Westmoreland County.
The scene is at the store on Magill Drive in North Huntingdon.
Our photographer on scene saw police tape blocking the store’s parking lot.
A person who works nearby told Channel 11 they heard shots fired.
Township officials say there was an armed robbery at the store and shots were fired when officers encountered the suspect in the parking lot.
No one was hurt and the suspect is now in custody.
A 911 official said there’s no threat to public safety.
The investigation is ongoing.
