Latrobe’s Italian Festival continues to grow in popularity

LATROBE, Pa. — The Latrobe Italian Festival is underway, celebrating authentic Italian culture for two days.

It’s now in its fifth year and has grown significantly in those years.

The event features live music, dancing, a bocce tournament and, of course, lots of food vendors.

Director Michael Ciotti said the event continues to grow in popularity.

“The word has spread throughout the state; we get people from surrounding states now attending the festival, but it gets better each year,” Ciotti said.

The festival continues Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
