Ligonier makes list of ‘Most Charming Small Towns Across America'

LIGONIER, Pa. — Ligonier has been named as one of the 18 "Most Charming Small Towns Across America," according to CountryLiving.com.

CountryLiving.com polled its Facebook fans and compiled the list from there. To be eligible, the town must have a population of no more than 13,000.

According to the website, Ligonier has an official population of just 1,560.

“Settled in the 1760s, Ligonier is home to one of the oldest amusement parks in the country,” the website says. “One of its most charming features: The historic, downtown square still has a bandstand at its center.”
