PITTSBURGH (AP) — Police said a Pittsburgh man is facing 55 charges after he allegedly stole more than $18,000 worth of Harley Davidson leather jackets, iPads, laptops and other items.

According to police, Jeffrey S. Nash, 41, is charged with burglary, theft, conspiracy and recklessly endangering after he led them on a chase.

Authorities said Nash sent text messages that read "Yo I got brand new Harley Davidson leather coats 50 % off various styles and sizes" and in one instance discussed a payment plan.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for June 7.
