Man found shot multiple times in middle of street in Pittsburgh’s Brighton Heights neighborhood

PITTSBURGH — A man was found shot in the middle of the street in Pittsburgh’s Brighton Heights neighborhood late Wednesday night.

Police, firefighters and medics were called to the 3300 block of Fleming Avenue just before 10:30 p.m.

When officers arrived on scene, they found a man shot multiple times near the intersection of Antrim Street and immediately began to render aid.

Public Safety officials said the victim was conscious, alert and talking to officers and medics. He was taken to a hospital in serious condition, but has since been upgraded to stable.

Two people were taken to Pittsburgh Police Headquarters for questioning. No arrests have been made.

Pittsburgh Police detectives continue to investigate.
