Man injured after vehicle crashed over hillside, into woods in North Fayette Township

NORTH FAYETTE TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Firefighters rescued a person from a vehicle that crashed over a hillside in North Fayette Township on Thursday.

The North Fayette Township Volunteer Fire Department was called to Anchor Court at 6:24 p.m.

A vehicle went over a hillside, narrowly missed a swimming pool and crashed into the woods.

Firefighters said the embankment was over 200 feet steep.

Officials said they used a Z-system with a pre-rigged over-the-hill bag.

The driver was rescued and treated by medics.
