Medical helicopter called to scene of crash in Butler County

BUTLER TOWNSHIP, Pa. — A vehicle crash is under investigation in Butler County.

A Butler County 911 supervisor tells Channel 11 that first responders were sent to the 300 block of McCalmont Road in Butler Township at 4:59 p.m.

It’s unclear if anyone was injured, though the supervisor says a medical helicopter was asked to respond.

Video shared with Channel 11 shows a badly damaged vehicle off the road and slightly up an embankment.

Butler Township police are leading the investigation.
