FRANKLIN PARK, Pa. — A multi-vehicle car crash caused major traffic delays on a busy local interstate Saturday.
According to PennDOT, the crash was located on I-79 southbound at Exit 72 (I-279).
Allegheny County 911 told Channel 11 that the crash was called in at 10:21 a.m.
Officials said no one was taken to the hospital due to the crash.
Traffic cameras showed the left two lanes with heavy emergency crew activity and traffic being directed to one lane.
Traffic cameras also show that traffic was backed up to mile marker 73.9 at Mingo Road.
