MONROEVILLE, Pa. — Allegheny County homicide detectives and Monroeville police are investigating the murder of a 16-year-old boy.
Justin Clark, of Penn Hills, was shot and killed Monday night in a parking lot on Trefoil Court in Monroeville.

Monroeville police Chief Doug Cole told Channel 11's Dave Bondy that someone leaving the apartment complex found Clark's body next to a car around 10:30 p.m. and called 911.

According to police, Clark was shot in the chest. Despite numerous attempts to save him, the tenth grader died at Forbes Regional Hospital.
So far, no arrests have been made.
Investigators are urging anyone who lives in the area to call Allegheny County police if they saw or heard anything.
Late Tuesday afternoon, Penn Hills High School issued the following statement in regard to Clark’s death:
"It is with sorrow and sadness that we inform you of the passing of a member of our school community. Sophomore Justin Clark passed away late last evening. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends."
