NEW CASTLE, Pa. — A registered nurse at Jameson Hospital is facing charges for pocketing pain medication from patients, WFMJ reported.
Investigators allege that Amber Loutzenhiser, 27, created fraudulent records to bill patients' insurance companies for pain medications she took for her personal use, according to WFMJ.

A criminal complaint obtained by WFMJ said Loutzenhiser, of Lawrence County, recorded on multiple patient charts that they had been administered the pain relievers.
Loutzenhiser is charged with insurance fraud and violation of a controlled substance.
