PITTSBURGH — The Jewish community in Pittsburgh came together to grieve and rebuild.
The Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh held a ceremony to mark three years since the Hamas-led attack on Israel.
The event honored the victims with interactive exhibits, memorials and a candle lighting.
Attendees were also able to interact with exhibits and memorial installations.
“We try to bring different angles to the story: Israeli sports trying to help and rebuild the society, stories of hope and communities coming together, volunteering, and showing the really hopeful and really the bright side of Israeli society,” Community Emissary Dan Aswef said.
Community leaders say the commemoration shows the resilience, healing and hope of Israeli society.
