PPG recommits to downtown, renews lease at headquarters

PITTSBURGH — One of Pittsburgh’s cornerstone public companies has renewed its commitment to its headquarters downtown.

PPG Industries Inc.⁠ (NYSE: PPG) confirms it has signed a renewal to maintain its global headquarters presence at PPG Place, the six-building, 1.5 million-square-foot office complex downtown for which the company was the original developer before selling it off decades ago.

Greta Edgar Borza, a senior communications leader at PPG, confirmed the company’s renewal at PPG in an emailed statement.

“PPG is committed to the Pittsburgh region and is proud to call the city home to our global headquarters,” she said. “As we continue to invest in the future of our business and our people, we regularly evaluate our workplace needs to ensure we provide a collaborative, modern environment that supports our employees and helps attract and retain top talent.”
