PITTSBURGH — Pressley Ridge launched its annual Holiday Hope season on Monday in Pittsburgh with a special shopping experience for youth in foster care.
Former Pittsburgh Steelers Brett Keisel and former Pittsburgh Penguin Marc-André Fleury served as Champions for Children ambassadors as Pressley Ridge launched its annual Holiday Hope season on Nov. 2nd.
The Holiday Hope program brings local businesses, community organizations and individuals together to fulfill holiday wishes for youth served by Pressley Ridge.
The initiative focuses on children navigating mental and behavioral health challenges, family separation, special education needs and other hardships.
In 2025, program supporters fulfilled holiday wishes for more than 1,000 children across the seven states where Pressley Ridge operates.
American Eagle Outfitters has served as a longtime partner for the Holiday Hope program. In 2025, employees of the Pittsburgh-based retailer provided gifts for more than 100 Pressley Ridge youth. This year, the company expanded its commitment to provide gifts for 20 additional children.
Other Pittsburgh-area businesses and community organizations have provided ongoing support for the program. Longtime supporters include Dick’s Sporting Goods, Michael Baker International, Henderson Brothers and members of Treesdale Golf & Country Club, who contribute gifts and resources for children served by Pressley Ridge.
Susanne Cole serves as president and CEO of Pressley Ridge, a national organization providing programs and services for children and families.
“Holiday Hope is about creating moments when children feel seen, valued and supported by their community,” Cole said. “Experiences like this shopping trip give youth the opportunity to express themselves and enjoy the excitement of the holiday season. We are incredibly grateful to American Eagle Outfitters, DICK’S Sporting Goods and our Champions for Children Keisel and Fleury for helping make these moments possible,” Cole said.
