PITTSBURGH — Channel 11 News has learned that several suspicious packages destroyed at the Murrysville post office Tuesday evening were meant for one of the girls on the hit show “Dance Moms.”
Murrysville police tell Channel 11 News that the girl lives out of state, but has a post office box set up in Murrysville.

Authorities haven’t said what prompted them to trace the packages to the Murrysville police office, where local police, the Allegheny County Bomb Squad and federal agents arrived Tuesday afternoon.
The packages were eventually hit with a water cannon, which destroyed them and enabled investigators to safely find an unspecified substance inside.
Police said U.S. Postal Inspectors have an out-of-state male suspect in custody.
According to a TMZ report, 36-year-old Phoeniz Sundown was arrested in San Diego and booked on charges of sending explicit or obscene matter to a minor.
TMZ is also reporting the suspect allegedly started harassing the child about two months ago.
That would make sense because police said these were not the first packages sent to the girl from the man.
The Associated Press contributed to this report.
