Person in custody following SWAT situation in Perry North

PITTSBURGH — SWAT units responded to an incident in Pittsburgh’s Perry North neighborhood on Monday night.

Allegheny County dispatchers said police were called to the area of Perrysville Avenue near Semicir Street at 9:03 p.m. on Monday.

A Pittsburgh public information officer said a female refused to exit a house following reports of a domestic incident.

No one else was inside the residence at the time.

Police said the female was eventually taken into custody. No injuries were reported.
