A former Beaver Falls High School teacher accused of sending sexual text messages to a student appeared in front of a judge on Tuesday.
Channel 11 first told you about the felony case against Sarah Massa last month. Investigators say she exchanged more than 3,000 messages with a 16-year-old student.
Some of those texts, according to court records, talk about performing sex acts and include photos of Massa in lingerie.
Massa’s attorney said they are still waiting for prosecutors to provide a copy of their evidence
“This case is really going to come down to the nature of the interaction, and whether it rose to a criminal level or not,” Steven Valsamidis said.
A formal arraignment is scheduled for November. A trial could begin in March.
