Royce Moser, 18, is accused of killing Heintz two weeks ago.
Heintz’s body was found in the back of her SUV near the PennWest California campus.
Investigators said Moser’s mother, Rachel Moser, helped move the body and clean up the crime. She is also set to appear in court on Tuesday.
Royce Moser is charged with homicide, while his mother is facing hindering and tampering charges.
