Jeremiah Ausby, 17, is accused of fatally shooting and killing 27-year-old Ronald Lucas on March 6. Lucas was shot five times inside a home on McMinn Street.
Beaver County District Attorney Anthony Berosh said Tuesday that the motive was likely money. He also said an extradition hearing will take place in the next two days to bring Ausby back to Pennsylvania.
The U.S. Marshals Western Pennsylvania Fugitive Task Force was the entity that tracked down Ausby in Brooklyn.
