While working for the company, Dean managed the accounting system and was the only employee in charge of filling Bhutan Stamp orders.

Frances Todd Stewart, CEO of the company, received a call from a man who said he purchased Bhutan Stamps in full, but had not gotten his order.

The man who purchased the stamps said that he was directed by Dean to apply his payments to her personal PayPal account.

The man also purchased $9,000 worth of stamps.

After the company’s office manager completed and inventory, it was found that there were approximately six to eight boxes of stamps missing.

It was found that the 137,000 stamps missing could be valued at approximately $266,000 according to Scotts Catalog, the 2015 worldwide stamp valuation company.

Other stamps that were considered family heirlooms and “priceless,” were not even listed in the Scotts Catalog.

Dean sold other specialty stamps from the company and received about $28, 439 without Creative Products International’s knowledge, and others of about 34, 361.

The man also paid her about $5, 922 in stamp purchases from July 2014 to Mar. 2015.

Dean is charged with theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property.
