FARRELL, Pa. — A woman was shot Friday morning in Mercer County.
NBC affiliate WFMJ reports that police were sent to Hamilton Avenue in Farrell just before 5:30 a.m.
A 26-year-old woman was found shot in the street, police said.
The street was blocked off as police investigated.
Around 9 a.m., WFMJ saw a SWAT vehicle arrive on scene. SWAT units got out with guns drawn, calling for a suspect.
Three people and a dog then exited a home. WFMJ says all three were taken from the scene, though one woman was released from handcuffs and put in an ambulance.
At 11:30 a.m., police were still on scene collecting evidence from the home.
