Woman will stand trial for allegedly hitting husband with truck

CANONSBURG, Pa. — A Canonsburg woman will stand trial on charges, including attempted homicide, for allegedly hitting her husband with their truck outside of a Canonsburg bar.

Police said Tina Olinger hit her husband with the truck in early October. Kevin Olinger, was rushed to the hospital in critical condition.

Olinger spent 17 days in the Intensive Care Unit and suffered head trauma and a fractured skull.

People inside of D's Locker Room the night of the incident testified Wednesday that the couple had been joking with each other beforehand.

A bar patron said Kevin Olinger said he wasn't going to let her drive her truck anymore and that Tina Olinger said that she would run him over with it if he tried to stop her.

Tina Olinger's defense attorney said the couple has a history of domestic violence and that Kevin Olinger was holding on to the front of the truck and pounding on the hood.

"Mr. Olinger appears to be the aggressor, getting on the hood of the truck and pounding on it.  He could have removed himself and let his life go on her way, but he doesn't," said defense attorney Peter Marcoline.
