WARRENDALE, Pa. — A fundraiser for pediatric cancer was held at Jergel's in Warrendale on Saturday.

Proceeds of more than $9,000 will be given to the Penn State IFC/Panhellenic Dance Marathon known as THON.

Wright Automotive Group was the corporate sponsor of the Jergel's event and donated $3,000 to the cause.

Four bands played at Saturday’s 12-hour fundraiser – Tullycavy, Tuned Up, Velveeta and My Hero Zero.

THON 2016 will take place February 19-21 at Penn State's Bryce Jordan Center.

Since 1977, THON has raised more than $127 million for the Four Diamonds Fund at Penn State Hershey Children’s Hospital.
