• Online effort pushing for local boy who died of cancer to be inducted to WWE HOF


    PITTSBURGH - Connor “The Crusher” Michalek stole the hearts of millions as he battled brain cancer while living life to the fullest.

    WPXI.com first told you about Connor, of Shaler, a few years ago when he took to YouTube, asking to meet WWE superstar Daniel Bryan.  Read original story here.

    The video worked, and we were with Connor when he got to meet Bryan. From there Connor and Bryan formed a beautiful friendship.

    Connor passed away two weeks ago. In memory of the boy who stole our hearts, the WWE posted a tribute video, sharing some amazing moments of Connor’s life. [watch below]

    Now, there’s another online effort for Connor -- which was jump started by former WWE star Mick Foley.
