PITTSBURGH — A SWAT team was called Sunday afternoon to a home in Pittsburgh's Bloomfield neighborhood after a shooting in the area, Channel 11's Mike Holden reported.
Officials said the shooting suspect was in custody as of 5:50 p.m.
The shooting was reported just after 3 p.m. in the 4500 block of Friendship Avenue, where a Channel 11 News crew found a heavy police presence upon arrival, followed by SWAT officers.

Holden reported that police could be heard using a loud speaker demanding that the suspect come out of a house.

Neighbors said they heard the shots and found a 22-year-old man wounded. He was taken to University of Pittsburgh Medical Center for treatment, and neighbors told Channel 11 News he was responsive and alert.
The motive behind the shooting is unclear.
