Troopers were called to a home along Carls Road just before 2:30 a.m. on Dec. 12 for a report of a shooting. They found a 25-year-old man they believe is the suspect and detained him. Multiple guns were located at the home.

Spencer’s family told Pennsylvania State Police he had been dropped off there for a camping trip with a former coworker and his friends. Police released the man who was arrested, and three others who were questioned, after consulting the district attorney.

The family has two fundraisers.

There is this one for a new autopsy and for legal expenses.

Then the second Go Fund Me page is for funeral expenses.

The viewing for Peter Bernardo Spencer will take place on Thursday, December 30th from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Calvary Apostolic Church at 2464 Woodstock Avenue in Swissvale.

The funeral is Friday, Dec. 31st at 10 a.m. at the same location.

Officials said they are still investigating what happened.
