PARKS TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Charges have been filed in a 2017 double murder in Parks Township, the Armstrong County District Attorney’s Office announced Wednesday morning.

Kevin Ware was arrested in Washington, D.C. Charges against Ware include criminal homicide, burglary, robbery, criminal trespass and reckless endangerment.
Investigators believe the shooting was drug related but wouldn’t elaborate on the motive.
The DA’s office said these are just accusations, but they have to wait on a preliminary hearing before he’s extradited back to Armstrong County. It is unclear how long that will take.
In 2018, another man was arrested for allegedly being involved by tampering with evidence.
