PITTSBURGH — The goal of the Eradicate Hate Global Summit in Pittsburgh is simple: stop hate around the world.
“It’s no good here, it’s no good anywhere. You have to understand it, learn about it and you’ve got to step up and help stop it,” said Pittsburgh Police Chief Scott Schubert.
Schubert said there’s no better place to hold the event, especially as the area approaches three years since the worst anti-Semitic attack in U.S. history. In October 2018, a gunman walked into the Tree of Life Synagogue and started to open fire.
