MOUNT OLIVER, Pa. — A gas leak in Mount Oliver led to the evacuation of two homes Wednesday morning, officials said.
The leak happened in the area of Locust and Walnut streets.
Seven people were in the two homes that were evacuated as a precaution, officials said.

A contractor hit the gas line, according to Columbia Gas. No one was hurt and no customers were impacted.
Repairs are being made to the damaged line, but it’s unclear how long they will take.
