Kids needed for new Netflix series filming in Pittsburgh with former ‘Game of Thrones’ producers

PITTSBURGH — A new Netflix series starring Sandra Oh is filming in Pittsburgh, and your kids could have a big role in upcoming episodes.

The series filming in Pittsburgh is called ‘The Chair.’ It features Sandra Oh and Jay Duplass. It’s a six-episode comedic drama written by Amanda Peet and executive produced by several former members of the team behind ‘Game of Thrones.’

Casting agents are looking for young female actors to star alongside Oh and Duplass. Any girls auditioning should have Hispanic, Asian, Middle Eastern, East Indian, Italian and/or Greek complexions with black hair past their shoulders. The children must be about 3 feet 9 inches, must weigh about 52 pounds, fit a size 6 pants and shirt and have a shoe size between 10.5 to 11.

Children selected for the available roles will be paid the day rate of $200. This includes properly sequestering in your home due to COVID-19 concerns.

Multiple COVID-19 tests are required during the time your children are sequestered and when they are working. The production team will coordinate the testing through a pediatrically trained clinician. Parents or guardians must also be tested.

If your child is selected, agents request that this is their only job or activity. Parents or guardians are asked to not work in-person at a day job or have their child go to school in-person to limit any potential exposure to COVID-19.

Masks and safety eyewear must be worn at all times except when the crew tells you to remove them. All PPE will be provided.

If you are interested, please send two current pictures along with the role you are submitting for. No blurry, poorly lit photos or pictures including hats or sunglasses will be considered. Include the child’s full name, your cellphone number, your child’s age, location, height, weight, shirt size, pant size, shoe size and any other accommodations you might need if selected.
