According to Allegheny Township police, they were first notified by a school resource officer on Monday or Tuesday of allegations of some form of inappropriate behavior by a staff member of the district.
We are not naming the staffer because no charges have been brought, but we are told the extracurricular athletic member works with middle school and high school students.
The police chief said his office is not investigating and that the case has been turned over to the school district and the Westmoreland County district attorney.
The district said they have suspended all services by the individual and continue to interview and gather documentation from witnesses.
