SWISSVALE, Pa. — A man is reportedly on the run after shooting a teen girl through his ceiling.
According to police, County 911 was notified of a domestic incident in the 2300 block of Woodstock Avenue in Swissvale. First responders found that a man inside the multi-unit building had fired a shotgun, hitting a 17-year-old girl in the unit above.
The girl was taken to an area hospital with a gunshot wound to her arm.
The man, identified as Shawn Bennett, 34, fled the area before police arrived. Investigators said he may be driving a white older model Ford Explorer or Expedition with blue rear rims. The vehicle’s license plate reads LDZ-3027.
