OTB opening new location in South Fayette

SOUTH FAYETTE TWP. — Local restaurant chain Over the Bar Bicycle Cafe is opening its third location soon in South Fayette.

The restaurant will be in close proximity to the Upper St. Clair Community & Recreation Center, Fairview and Boyce Mayview Parks, and Wingfield Pines Conservation Area. The 6,000-square-foot OTB at Hastings will seat more than 200 patrons as well as outdoor dining on the patio. The main indoor dining area includes floor-to-ceiling windows and two garage doors that will provide fresh air to the entire restaurant.

Sixteen taps will be available pouring brews from favorite local breweries, and canned beer will be available for to-go orders.

The menu will feature favorite items that are shared across all three restaurant locations. OTB at Hastings will also feature new items such as Wheelie Wings, Gnarly Nachos and unique protein bowls.

Like its sister locations, OTB at Hastings will display local artwork. It also will have décor nods to the nearby railroad.

“OTB is not only a bicycle-themed restaurant, we consider ourselves to be advocates of active living and healthy lifestyles,” says owner Michael Kotyk. “The surrounding parks and recreational opportunities fit right in with who we are.”

Kotyk, of Upper St. Clair, sits on BikePGH’s Board of Directors and helped form a South Hills cycling advocacy organization called South Hills Safe Streets.

OTB also has locations in the South Side and North Park.
