SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. — A person was assaulted with Sheetz “Boom Boom Sauce” early Tuesday morning in Shippensburg, Cumberland County, according to police.

It happened at the Sheetz on East King Street around 1:10 a.m.

Police said the suspects, who they are working to identify, threw the sauce and hit the victim in the eyes, causing temporary blindness and eye irritation, according to police.

Police said the car the sauce was thrown from was a white Nissan four-door car with a West Virginia license plate and a missing hubcap on the front right wheel.
