Police investigating death of 2-month-old in Beaver County

ALIQUIPPA, Pa. — Police are investigating the death of a 2-month-old infant in Beaver County.

The incident occurred at 500 Superior Avenue, Aliquippa on Saturday. The Pennsylvania State Police said

Aliquippa Police Department responded to the location for a report of an unresponsive 2-month-old female. Life saving measures were attempted by officers, fire department personnel and medic rescue personnel, but the child was pronounced deceased on scene.

Aliquippa police requested the help of the Pennsylvania State Police Beaver Criminal Investigation Unit to investigate the incident.

The investigation is ongoing.
