According to an inspection report obtained by Channel 11′s Jillian Hartmann, Oddballs was found to be well above the occupancy limit, with more than 200 customers inside.

Inspectors also said there was no social distancing and no masks being worn and that alcohol was being served without food.

The health department ordered Oddballs to close for a minimum of seven days.

A re-inspection date has not been scheduled.

Other Southside business owners call the violations a slap in the face.

Matt Voelker, owner of Nadine’s Diner, doesn’t want rule breakers to ruin it for other businesses.

“It’s unfair some people are trying to follow rules and make a living and these other places that just apparently don’t care. We want to stay open. We want to make money. We know we don’t have a lot of time left with this outside seating,” said Voelker.

This is the second time Oddballs has been cited by the health department.

Last month, the bar was cited for no social distancing and no masks.

Channel 11 News reached out to Oddballs and its owner, but has yet to receive a response.
