PITTSBURGH — A crash early Thursday morning involving a Port Authority of Allegheny bus sent one person to a hospital and left a pickup truck wrapped around a pole.

The crash was reported shortly after midnight at the intersection of East General Robinson and Sandusky streets in Pittsburgh’s North Shore.
Officials said the truck went through a red light and struck the bus before sliding across the road and hitting a light pole.

The driver of the truck was taken to Allegheny General Hospital with a non-life-threatening head injury, a Port Authority spokesman said.
The driver of the bus was not hurt and there were no passengers on board, the spokesman said.
