Woman dead after hit by vehicle in UPMC parking garage

MONROEVILLE, Pa. — A woman is dead after being hit by a vehicle in the parking garage of UPMC East in Monroeville.

Investigators said they were called at around 2:15 p.m. to the parking garage. They found a woman who had been hit. She was taken to an area hospital where she was pronounced dead.

Homicide detectives are still investigating. UPMC officials said the driver of the vehicle did remain at the scene and was cooperating with police.
