Woman taken to hospital after shooting in Duquesne

DUQUESNE, Pa — A woman was taken to the hospital after a shooting Saturday night in Duquesne.

Police were called to Grant Avenue around 8:30 p.m. for a report of a shooting.

When officers got there, they found a 53-year-old woman shot with non-life threatening injuries.

Her name and condition have not been released.

Allegheny County police are encouraging anyone with information to give them a call. Callers can remain anonymous.
