Fire crews rescue puppies from vent ducts

DAYTON, Ohio — Members of Engine 17, Dayton Fire Department in Ohio, rescued two puppies that were trapped in a home's ventilation ducts.

The call came in about 4:30 p.m. Monday, police Lt. Wendy Stiver said.

The adventures of Roscoe and Frankie began on the second floor of the home. Roscoe fell to the basement, while Frankie ended up close to the front door area, Stiver said.

Both pups were doing well after the rescue.
