NEW YORK — A pregnant woman was fatally shot while attempting to break up a fight at her baby shower in New York City early Sunday, authorities said.
Shanice Young, 31, was a mother of four and was expecting another child, WPIX reported. At least two of her children were at the baby shower in the Harlem section of Manhattan, the television station reported.
According to the New York Police Department, officers found Young with a gunshot wound to her head, unconscious and unresponsive, WABC reported.

WPIX reported that Young was trying to break up a fight between her ex and a man she was currently in a relationship with when shots were fired.
No arrests have been made, and authorities have not released any information about the shooter, the television station reported.
