WATCH: Toronto sinkhole swallows up car

TORONTO, Canada — A sinkhole in Canada swallowed a vehicle after a water main break Tuesday.

The car, belonging to Toronto's transit agency, sank slowly, at one point bobbing around with its trunk out of the water.

It reportedly sank completely after a while.

The water main break occurred early this morning in the city's Port Lands neighborhood.

Video recorded by local media shows the car stuck in the water before falling into the sinkhole.

There did not appear to be any people in the car at the time.

The supervisor who had been driving the vehicle before it submerged was not injured, according to a transit spokesperson.
