Pittsburgh Steelers rookie wide receiver Germie Bernard was nominated for the FedEx Air & Ground Player of the Week for his historic performance in Sunday’s overtime win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The two other nominees for this week’s award are Houston Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud and Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence.

Stroud threw for 312 yards and three touchdowns in the Texans’ 34-31 win over the Jaguars. Lawrence threw for 306 yards and tossed four TDs in the loss.

Bernard had 11 receptions in Sunday’s win over the Bucs. That is the most receptions for a Steelers rookie wide receiver in a single game in franchise history, surpassing JuJu Smith-Schuster‘s nine receptions against the Cleveland Browns in Week 17 of 2017.
