PITTSBURGH — The Penguins’ game at New Jersey next Tuesday is going to be postponed because of the Devils’ ongoing COVID-19 issues.

It is not known when the game will be made up, but it is expected to cause ripple effects that could cause a significant portion of their schedule to be adjusted.

That will be their third game against the Devils in a week that will not go off as scheduled. New Jersey had been supposed to play at PPG Paints Arena Tuesday and Thursday, but those games were postponed because of COVID-19.

The Penguins will play the New York Islanders Saturday at 7:08 p.m. at Nassau Coliseum.
