Fantastic weather will make it easy to get out and vote, but you’ll need to dust off the umbrellas and get ready for our first steady rain in more than two weeks.
Sunshine and unseasonably warm temperatures in the mid-70s will highlight the day Tuesday-perfect weather to head to the polls.
Both the morning and afternoon commutes will be dry Wednesday, with the first round of wet weather moving in late Wednesday night and continuing into Thursday morning. Rain will be steady at times and falling leaves could clog drains, so watch for ponding on roads in a few spots.
After a brief break Thursday, the second round of rain returns Friday and continues into early Saturday. This round will not be as heavy and steady, but it will usher in a big temperature drop heading into the weekend. Highs Tuesday and Wednesday will be in the mid-70s; highs Saturday and Sunday will be in the mid-50s.
