Pittsburgh weather: Current dry stretch could be the longest in years

PITTSBURGH — Tuesday made it official: We’re now in our driest consecutive stretch of days so far in 2026.

That stretch became 11 days Wednesday and will become 12 Thursday, hitting 13 as we head into Friday.

The next longest stretch was back in late May and early June, when we had nine consecutive days.

It’s possible that, with a lack of rain over the next several days, we could extend this to 16 or 17 days, which would make it the longest stretch in the last three years.
