PITTSBURGH — It will be warm and not as humid this evening. Temperatures will drop from the 80s to the 70s. Wildfire smoke is high in the atmosphere this evening. Air quality is not a concern, but expect a hazy or milky-looking sky.
Overnight showers and a few storms are possible into Monday morning. It will be muggy with temperatures around 70 degrees. Rain could be heavy at times with a few gusty thunderstorms.
Very muggy conditions are expected Monday and Thursday morning with unsettled weather each day. Showers and storms are possible Monday through Wednesday. Downpours could lead to localized flooding. Frequent lightning and severe storms are all possible.
The primary threat with severe storms this week is damaging winds, but hail and an isolated tornado can’t be ruled out. Make sure to stay weather aware and have a way to get updates.
Morning showers are possible early Thursday before high humidity begins to drop off through the day, with clearing conditions by the end of the work week. Dry and comfortable conditions are expected Friday and Saturday with highs in the upper 70s around 80 degrees.
