PITTSBURGH — A mainly dry and seasonable evening is expected, with any chance for a stray shower staying along or north of I-80.
We’ll get a steadier push of rain Friday morning, but it will stay mainly south of I-70 closer to Morgantown. Some light showers are possible in the city but won’t cause any major impacts.
The start of the weekend will be quiet, featuring warm weather and slightly less humid air Saturday. However, a warm front lifts north Sunday, ramping up humidity levels and bringing us our next best chance of showers and thunderstorms. Depending on how ingredients come together, strong storms are possible along with very heavy rainfall, especially Sunday evening.
A cold front will slide through early next week, bringing a more noticeable drop in humidity levels and a few days of dry weather.
