FIRST LOOK: 12-year-old Pittsburgher ready to take the ‘America’s Got Talent’ stage

Get excited for an all-new “America’s Got Talent” as yet another young Pittsburgh-area native gets ready to show the world her amazing voice.

12-year-old Ashley Marina is a singer-songwriter from Kennedy Township, and will appear in Tuesday’s episode of “America’s Got Talent” at 8 p.m. on Channel 11.

In this exclusive clip sent to us from NBC we see Ashley owning the stage with one of her original songs.

Ashley is believed to be only the second solo act to make it onto the “America’s Got Talent” stage from the Pittsburgh area in the 15-year history of the show. Now world-renowned Jackie Evancho was the first a decade ago.

The young artist is no stranger to performing as she has performed in WPXI’s Holiday Parade, is a regular national anthem singer for professional sporting events in the area and is a two-time finalist in the Williams SING-OFF Competition, where she was selected to perform during New Year’s Eve Highmark First Night Pittsburgh.

Ashley has 10 original songs to date including “Move a Mountain” which rose to No. 1 on The FAB Chart worldwide and “You’ll Always Be My Hero” on MÓB Radio Song and Video of the Month worldwide.

Her other talents include playing the piano, ukulele, and guitar, dancing (with Abby Lee Dance Company and Millennium Dance Complex), acting, and modeling.

Will she have what it takes to impress the star-studded judging panel of Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum and Sofia Vergara to continue her journey?

Cheer her on and find out if she makes it through her “America’s Got Talent” audition Tuesday night on Channel 11.
